Great Rhythm Brewing Company: Burst 6.2%

Burst is a collaboration between Great Rhythm Brewing Company and Black Hog Brewing Company. They call Burst a kettle sour IPA and that is exactly what it is. The color is a very hazy light orange with a pink tinge. The smell is sour with an alcoholic scent to it. There is intense guava, strawberry and grapefruit notes in Burst. As you know, I am a big IPA fan but not a big sour fan, so I was intrigued by this combination. Overall, Burst was the right combination of sour and IPA to make me like this one. It had that sour aspect to it but still had that hoppiness that I look for.
